The Haight Ashbury Free Clinics, Inc. is a community-based organization
providing health care, education, training, and research services based on the
philosophy that health care is a right, not a privilege. The clinics are
dedicated to the delivery of innovative, high quality services in a humanistic,
non-judgmental style to individuals who do not have equal access to traditional
health care services. The clinics are free at the point of delivery of
care. The Haight Ashbury Free Clinics' Program Policy is intended to support the overall mission of the Haight Ashbury Free Clinics, Inc., and to provide a basis for program planning. The working relationship between the Board of Directors, Central Administration, the Operations Board, and the Program Directors must be based on mutual respect, openness and acknowledgement of respective roles and responsibilities.
